  25. user group at System Eyes in NH? Can anyone give me more details on that?

  28.     On another note...
  29.     How difficult would it be to add a flare effect that simulates a
  30. reflector based lightsource such as a flashlight, car headlight, or helicopter
  31. searchlight?  For instance, when a helicopter's searchlight is oriented 45
  32. degrees away from the camera the flare (and glow) is much smaller than if the
  33. light were pointed straight at the lens. Currently, I ramp the Flare Intensity
  34. as the searchlight directs itself into the camera.
  35.     I was thinking a button and string selector that allows the user to
  36. input an angle much like the Soft Edge angle. LW would then progressively ramp
  37. the flare within the specified angle range as the lightsource becomes oriented
  38. with the lens. Is this making any sense?
  39.     I guess it's just something to make the effect easier. I wouldn't want
  40. to manually ramp, say, twenty sources by eye...

  43. on a reel, and I've fresh run out of habanero boosters (tm) ;)
